@ in your ear @ DCAC

We hope you can join us on Sunday, November 19 at 3 p.m. at the DC Arts Center (2438 18th St. in Adams Morgan, a few doors south of the corner of 18th and Columbia) for a reading by TINA DARRAGH, ALLISON COBB, and JENNIFER COLEMAN. Many of us will be going from this reading to the 7 p.m. reading at Bridge Street, so join us for this amazing full day of poetry!

Tina Darragh, who lives here in D.C., is the author most recently of the Dream Rim Instructions (Drogue Press), a fabulous work of text and visual poetry. She's the author of other books such as Adv. Fans, Striking Resemblances, and others. Her performance style absolutely has to be heard; no one else does anything like it.

Allison Cobb, who now lives in Brooklyn, is former co-curator of the In Your Ear reading series and the DC Poetry website.  She is co-author, with CE Putnam and Jennifer Coleman, of Communal Bebop Canto, 50 Cents Off Press; The Little Box Book, a chapbook edition of Situation magazine; and The J Poems, BabySelf Press.  Her work has appeared in Mirage#4/Period(ical)  Kenning, 5_Trope, Tangent, Phoebe, So To Speak, Cream City Review, Rain City Review and others.

Jen Coleman lived in the DC area for 6 years before moving to New York last summer. Her work has appeared in the Tangent, Ixnay, and a few other places, and last year she co-managed the In Your Ear poetry series at DCAC. Her current projects include group collaborations such as "A Thousand Insanities" and "Sting Like a Box."
